Now that all the children had petted Porkchop, Jane stepped forward. "Thank you all for attending the reading of Porkchop, the Wonder Dog. You can purchase a copy over there at that table." She pointed to the table where Candie sat, ready to handle the book sales. My cousin waved her bejeweled fingers at the adults and children.

"After you purchase your book, you can come back over to Sam, and she'd be happy to sign it for you," Jane said.

I smiled and held up my pen. I was thrilled to see all who attended my signing were in line to purchase a copy of my book. This made my writing heart sing.
